DECEPTIVE WIND
We have lovely bright sunshine, but the wind is keen,
It is quite deceptive you dont think the weather is mean
Until you step outside and the wind blow right through,
Not in the spring should this weather happen to you,
When protected from the blowing wind all is truly fine,
A sweater is only needed, even with this cold blood of mine,
But step out to where the wind whips and blows so hard
You want to head right back to the warmth of your back yard.
Through the window the sun is warm you may even call it hot,
Good weather is here and after winter it touches the right spot,
But when you have to bow your head to fight the wind so strong,
You think that mother nature has got her seasons all wrong.
I will not wear a big coat even if I freeze through to the bone
As I walk around and I know Ill shiver and constantly moan,
But spring is here and all should be getting warm right now,
So please wind warm up so there are no frowns on my brow.
