More poems about Music.

        PRELUDE MUSIC
It’s good to sit and listen to the music flow,
Waiting for the meeting to start the chatter all go,
Hymns known and melodies that are quite new,
All trying to bring some peace of mind through.

Outside it is quite wet, windy and a little cold,
So the music seems to welcome you to the fold,
Away from the world outside, all safe within,
The music should be soothing away earthly din.

Yet the peace is almost shattered, few sit quietly,
Few sit still to get ready for the meeting reverently,
Melodies played can touch hearts, help them heal,
Yet few alone want that special blessing to feel.

Listen to that noise so he plays louder right now,
Some leaning forward to hear, a frown upon each brow.
What can be done to bring to pass the spirit to feel
And all listen so that those in need of it may heal.
