A SLEEPY COMPUTER
The computer seems quite sleepy this morning
it’s time taking
Over each command given as if thinking was hard
in the making,
Most morning it seems glad to see me, appears to have
a smile on it’s face,
But this morning it slept in I feel and want to hide
in disgrace.
Is there a reason for this conundrum that sometimes
comes my way,
Is it something I did to it, or something it maybe
heard me say?
Or it could be me being impatient in some selfish
act of mine,
And if I grumble at this friend will it just sit there
awhile and pine?
Now it underlined good words as I see for no good
reason at all,
Is it getting back at me for the unkind names
I did call.?
I have come to the conclusion that computers
have real feelings
And it’s not a clump of technical bits and bites with
which we are dealing.
So a word of caution, to your computer always be
nice and kind,
And the day working with it will run smoothly
you will find.
