GATHER YOUR TREASURES
Gather your treasures while you may
For they may not be there another day,
Do not pass them by not really caring,
Gather truth and the gospel ever sharing.

Treasures of wisdom, of truth and of light
Are there to be seen often shining bright.
Gather them now or it may be too late,
Don’t think until tomorrow you will wait.

Sun shining bright on dewy fields of green
And hundreds of mini rainbows are seen
Casting their arches waiting for you there,
You’ll want to offer a sweet humble prayer.

Maybe learn a lesson from a young child,
This helps gain humility and be truly mild,
Gather the treasures wherever they may be,
Things to keep for now and through eternity.

Seek them, gather them, share what you found,
Don’t let them be buried with you in hard ground,
Brighten some lives as your treasures you share,
Think of God’s goodness that is good, true and fair.
