More poems about Writing.

PREPARED
In my purse are pencils all pointed, prepared and waiting
For ideas to flow that are tumbling and even fretting
That they will not be written or read but just fade away,
Then fear they may not be remembered for many a day.

A pointed, prepared pencil helps writers, I think, ready to be,
Especially when thoughts come so fast that they feel heady,
Also in life you need to keep sharp so many things you learn
And so wisdom, knowledge and understanding you may earn.

Pointed pencils prepared, a mind that is sharp and quite clear
Will give a writer of any kind a life and heart free from fear,
There’ll be an eager mind, the means to write it down right now
So life will be very blest for many with no frown on any brow.
