DECORATIONS
I love to see the decorations go up in each store
And the Christmas music play the songs most of us adore,
The feeling of comradery that seems to fill each heart
As everyone is nicer at Christmas wanting to be a part.

I love to see the twinkle in each young child’s bright eye
As they look at all the treasure to them mounted so high,
Then patiently in the line up just to sit on Santa’s knee
And ask for a gift, some quite bold, others shy and timidly.

I love the hustle and bustle as many treasure is sought,
Then a name checked off the list as the gift is bought.
Presents bought months ago found and put under the tree.
I feel I become much younger at Christmas inside of me.
