THE TOBOGGAN QUEEN
The other day our church group had a really fun day,
Lots of us gathered together in a fun loving way,
A ride on the sleigh drawn by two lovely horses grand,
And a toboggan hill with tubes and sleds at hand.
Linda Hanagarne seemed to have most fun of all,
Racing up the slope nor bothering about a fall,
She raced up and past the children who were too slow
And two to one down the hill shed very quickly go.
She invented the train ride as many rides were together
And then the speed increased despite the warmer weather.
Other adults joined in the fun and caused much applause,
But the prize for the best tobogganer, with just cause,
Was dear Linda Hanagarne with smiles all the day
And when she was coming down all moved out of the way
