COBALT THE PLACE WHERE I LIVE
In the small town of Cobalt many historical treasures are found,
Many memories do linger, there may be mysteries underground,
Sights galore to beacon you and many sites to go explore and see,
Come along to Cobalt and let your curiosity be set flowing free.
Glory holes and mill sites and many crevasses very deep and dark,
Cobalt lake once poison is improving and there’s a nice little park.
Forests green surround it with lots of clean lakes to swim and fish,
Come, walk around the silver trail, fast or slow just as you wish.
Soon the call of the loon we’ll hear and see it so gracefully glide,
With history, the beauty of nature combined, my joy I cannot hide.
Come and visit us at Cobalt, maybe buy a home and settle down,
For the air is clean, humidity low, nature wears her prettiest gown,
Where the people are all friendly, wave as you walk or drive along
And very little noise disturbs, save for birds and nature’s love song.
