BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED
If birth gives you a garden where love and beauty
forever grow,
Bloom where you are planted, let each action
always show,
Your gratitude, through service to a loving Father
up above,
Who’s kind hand planted you where there’s nourishment
and love.
Even if thorny, hard paths were your first steps, you do
carefully tread,
Grow in the light of the gospel and let your light
be shed,
Struggle to overcome the things that all around
you lie,
Keep striving to improve, never give up and just
want to die.
But if you are planted where sin and evil shuts out
all light,
Struggle to be free, seek for truth with all your
strength and might,
Bloom in places where the winds of truth blow
ever free,
Then plant yourself and grow in strength for now
and eternity.
