More poems about Forever.

        PARTING IS SUCH SWEET SORROW
Lying still and pale, yet at peace and truly so very serene
Is our dear departed one, and much sorrow is now seen,
But families can be forever sealed here and in heaven above,
Never to part again because of God’s great redeeming love.
For in the lovely temples standing in places far and wide
Is a treasure for all mankind that we do not want to hide
The joy that flows through sorrow for we will all meet again,
For where there is no parting there is also very little pain.
We will miss her, with her kind and treasured little ways,
Our hearts will ache and we’ll shed tears for many days,
But the light and knowledge of eternal and sweet togetherness
Will at this time of our sad mourning our lives truly and gently bless.
For In God’s holy temples we are bound as a family as forever one,
And if we live worthily this great blessing will be won.
So smile through the tears and remember parting is not too sad,
Rejoice in the knowledge of the gospel and let all hearts be glad.
