RAYS OF SUNSHINE
Some days are full of sunshine, no clouds
around at all,
Just a wonderful brightness and you know rain or
snow won’t fall,
The kind of days you long for in all the seasons
of the year,
For those days bring you comfort and a feeling
of good cheer.
Being hot or cold does not matter when the sun’s
rays abound,
For there is with the rays a special feeling that can
be always found,
One of sweet comfort and a light feeling just
about everywhere
As the sunshine brightens and almost seems to
clean the air.
In winter the snow sparkles, making everywhere
so very bright,
In spring the world awakes and the world is such
a pretty sight,
A field of grass and spring flowers basking in the
bright rays of sun,
Then the kiss of the summer sun when at last we
can have summer fun,
The laughter of children by some sea, lake or
ever small stream,
Returns with the warm rays like some forgotten,
special dream.
But when those rays rest upon the trees in the
glorious fall
I think that is the prettiest sunshine’s rays that
come to us all.
But whatever season come often sweet sun
to cheer the heart
And we will in return enjoy each blessing and
do our small part.
