NOT GRUMBLE AGAIN
I promise that Ill not grumble or ever complain
Not even moan or ever sulk at all, no never again,
Although sickness and suffering has come my way
There are many others worse off than me, Id say.
So much more suffering, so much more hurt and pain,
Ill not moan, but give a bright smile to cheer again,
Bring a glimmer of hope on some long painful day,
Maybe ease some hurt as they tread a harsh cruel way.
Ill find things that cheer me up, give me a bright smile,
Find the strength to share anothers load for awhile,
Then as this miracle happens your own hurt and pain
Fades a little and much more strength and courage gain.
So I will not feel sorry for myself or grumble at all,
But look around and seek those who need a friendly call.
