        THE STUFFED CAT
Would you still love me this much if I was truly real,
Would you still see in my eyes that sweet kitty appeal?
I’d try to keep mu sharp claws tucked away out of sight,
And I promise I would never meow loud in the night.

I know I’m not real but I think I would like to be,
I’d love to become part of home and happy family
I’d romp, play and keep you amused with my fun
Then sleep at your feet and be good when day is done.

Yes, I wish I was real, alive so I can give you my love
Wander around, be good and never chew on a glove,
I would be a true companion as well as a dear friend,
But I’m only a stuffed toy so my feeling I cannot sent.
