        DO I WANT A KITTEN
A little furry kitten would be fun around the house,
We know it would reduce any sign of a mouse,
A little ball of love curled up asleep on your knee,
And playing with a toy or two as cute as could be.

A little companion to have, see it around somewhere ,
Using the kitty litter ever going out without a care.
Then I thought of bedtime and if nocturnal it be
When moving our legs when sleeping would I alive be?

For kittens love to pounce on anything that moves at all,
Even chasing light reflections that go climbing up the wall,
Will the little kitten sulk if we leave the home all day,
All these things need working out so it will happily stay.

Soon we will make up our minds on this cute little pet,
Consider the great cost of us taking it off to the vet,
This is the longest time we have been quite pet free
And it seems odd not to have a little friend close to me.
