BEING GOOD IS MORE
Being good is more than just overcoming sin,
More than having clean thoughts deep within,
Not only avoiding wrong but always doing right,
Not miss opportunities to serve with all your might.
Never procrastinate, thinking there will be more time,
Even saying it’s another’s responsibility not mine,
Being good is following the Master in every little way,
Where would we be in the good line, if He came today?
Being good is more than not telling some wicked lie,
It is standing for the truth not let errors pass you by
Without a word spoken or some effort always made
To correct a wrong and in doing it never be afraid.
Being good is more than worship and dedication true,
More than always knowing just what you have to do,
It is giving of yourself freely each and every day
Then being good will be following the Master’s way.
