TEACHING THE WAY
When you posses the truth and light, let it shine,
That’s the best way to teach, the gospel divine,
Radiate the brightness that within you does shine,
Go on let that light glow well, right next to mine.
Teach by being my old gran used to always say,
You cannot teach a lie it does not work that way,
Gain knowledge and wisdom from heaven above
Then go out with your light shining with His love.
Be a good example and never let the truth grow dim
Be the best you can so you shine deep down within,
Then that example will lead other the righteous way
And truth and light will guide through many a dark day.
Teaching the way through example will always win through
For as well as what you say, it’s also what you can do,
Teach by being this thought will keep you ever straight
And will ever lead you onward to heaven’s wondrous gate.
