More poems about Weather.

        DO NOT REMEMBER
Although the sun was supposed to set at four twenty,
The day is so dull and everywhere so dread and misty,
That way before that time lights are being turned on,
The feeling of a nice day has now completely gone.

Even after sundown there is light enough to see around,
But not today with so much mist so close to the ground,
These days are not common and no one wants them to stay,
And those who find it hard to breath have to fight all day.

These are days best forgotten but remember the bright sun
Dancing on the crystal clear snow from when the day begun,
Right through until the moonbeams made patterns everywhere
And there was a cold crisp freshness in that pretty night air.

Forget these days of winter that are cheerless and often sad,
Remember the days of perfect beauty and then be forever glad
That you saw the sun sparkle on that carpet of pure white snow,
And treasure them up and find them when the sun does not show.
