More poems about Winter.

I LIKE SNOW FOR CHRISTMAS
I do like nice snow for Christmas all clean
and white,
Especially if the winter sun shines
very bright,
The only thing wrong with this pretty sight we
want to see,
It has to be quite cold to keep the snow perfect
as can be.
The beauty of the frozen lake, icy bows
of the trees
Capes of ermine on the stately pines until a
strong breeze
Comes and forces it away with it’s cruel
harsh breath,
I wonder does it realize it can bring pain
and death.
Although I love a white Christmas as part of
the happy season,
Nature needs protection and that is the
main reason,
But for it to last so long, I cannot think why
it should,
But we’ll put up with it and dream of a rich
green wood.
