BEING ORGANIZED
When I am busy a list I like to make,
Check things off and some pride take
As the items are marked off one by one,
And I feel that a lot has been well done.
Well now it’s nearly Christmas and so
My lists are important as so quickly go
For each day and time is running out,
Things don’t get done but I don’t shout.
Just put it at the top for the next day,
And so it goes until time flies away,
Then what is left still not yet done
Will wait until Christmas is gone.
Three lists now has shown all to clear
That the fridge needs doing, but I fear
It’s one of my least favourite things to do,
It has to be done to see the season through.
Throw stuff out and wipe it down and smile,
Hope it does not get messy for quite awhile,
Christmas is getting close tomorrow I will try
To do the fridge before from shame I just die.
