More poems about Winter.

BEAUTY OF COLD WINTER
If we look around at nature there are many
things we see,
Hidden pockets of loveliness, small areas
of special beauty,
But just this morning nature was, maybe, at
her very best,
And a wealth of incredible splendour for
me to invest
Floated before my eyes as I glanced at the
fast rising sun,
Just as a few large snow flakes a dance
had just begun.
Miniature specs of rainbows gliding in the
soft breeze,
You could catch a multicoloured gem, it was as
if to seize
A rainbow and keep it until a very sad
or lonely day,
So to take it out to send all your troubles
far away.
Then as the sun changed and the white
fallen snow
Turned into a carpet of diamonds more beauty
to show.
Although winter is cold and can be harsh and
quite cruel
Look for the best in all things, make this your
golden rule.
