POTTED PLANT
A gift of a potted plant came
my way,
Taking a closer look, what can
I say,
When poinsettia, pretty leaves, violets
so blue
All in the one planter came into
my view.
Such a lovely mixture of colours blended
as one,
All so well balanced and so very
cleverly done,
Now t hey sit on the table in full
grand array
And it brings a great deal of joy
my way.
If they keep on growing therell be
a reason
To separate them at the end of this
wonderful season,
But there now they grow together in
sweet harmony,
Sending us a message of how we should
all be.
