More poems about Talents.

SHARING
A talent is not a talent if not shared with others.
Gifts given to us to help our sisters and brothers,
A talent just kept to yourself only blesses you.
Do you think that is what God would have you do?

To play an instrument shut up in a small room alone,
Only you hear the sweet sounds nothing ever shown
To others, just how selfish can one person really be
When much joy they could share with those they see.

A painter who hides all his great masterpieces away,
How much enjoyment would come along each sad day,
Or a writer not make the effort to write a good book,
Go on, do you hide your talents not share, take a look.

If a talent’s not shared with ones fellow human beings
How long will that gift last I wonder? Gifts and things
Will be taken away by our Father who gave them to share
And how will you feel when you meet Him up there.
