BABY JESUS
Oh, what joy this tiny babe did bring
As all the angels in heaven did sing
His praises with sweet loud acclaim,
The promised Messiah here to reign.

Placed in a manger no creche or bed,
Just some hay on which to lay His head,
The Great I Am in a lowly stable forlorn,
Not the right place for a God to be born.

Yet there He lies come from Father above,
Sent to earth to give pure, unconditional love
Now your nativity scene is finished, complete,
Let us all worship together at His wounded feet.
