More poems about Birth of Saviour.

JOSEPH Sometimes we forget Joseph, such a great man,
Who was willing to follow Heavenly Father’s plan,
He guided, protected Mary and the coming child,
A man of great character, strong and gentle and mild.

A carpenter by trade who Mary did surely love,
Both obeyed that voice of the angel from above,
And on the long trip to Bethlehem busy town,
He took care of the treasures uphill and down.

Did he hold Mary’s hand as the babe was born
In that stable so humble, cold and truly forlorn?
Did he grieve that there was no better cover found
As Mary lay on straw not on a bed but on ground?
