        HOW DO I ACT
How do I act everyday that I live,
Do I take much more than I give,
Do I follow the Master in what I do
Am I a Christian all the day through?

Do I need a label on my back to show
That I follow the Master wherever I go,
Do my actions prove me good this day
Or am I following the much darker way?

When I kneel to pray at the day’s end,
Can my conscience allow my knees to bend
In humility, have I tried all the day through
To be good and kind in all the things I do?

If I were called home during this next hour
Would Father on me His great gifts shower,
Or would I tremble and bow my head in shame
And feel the emptiness and sin’s harsh pain?

Give me the courage a Christian to always be,
Following the Lord Jesus who died for me,
That my words and deeds will loud proclaim
And that in heaven they will know my name.
