FOR SHERRY MY FOREVER FRIEND
We must have been spirit twins in our home above,
For there is this eternal bond that binds us in pure love,
For I know we are more than friends in a special way,
You’ve always been there for me through many a bad day.
You have been my mentor, a voice of encouragement,
A precious gift from God to many of us you were sent,
Through the laughter and tears, joys and sorrows too,
You have never let me down my whole life through.
Although your road is rough and hard you will surely win,
You have a depth of courage that flows from deep within,
You are a beacon so bright, loved ones will all rally around,
And to the Master’s will, that good heart is forever bound.
Take courage in your own strength and in dear God above
And you can always depend on my never ending love,
All the angels in heaven support you every day through,
For all know for your goodness and deep dedication too.
Sherry, may the Lord bless you and share the load you carry,
Let those sparkling eyes remain bright and so joyously merry.
My arms stretch out in support and may you always know,
That my grateful heart goes with you wherever you need to go.
