LISTS
There must be something special about writing
a shopping list,
Or the things you need to do each day, I think
you get the gist,
When my work load is heavy and check off the
things I’ve done
I feel that some great battle over the list I
have easily won.
Even if I forget the long list when off shopping
I have to go,
Having written them down it seems to help my
memory flow,
The things I do forget I usually have not written
down anywhere,
So writing things down for me is an action I feel
I want to share.
Now I am getting a little older for me a list
is a real must,
For on my busy mind thinking of other things
I have to trust
On a list of some kind to prompt me along my
forgetful way,
Then I feel I have accomplished something at
the end of the day.
