More poems about Weather.

WEATHER IS MIXED UP
Tuesday was quite warm and melted
all the snow,
Then zooming down yesterday the temperature
did go,
First the snow fell fast then we had flurries
for awhile,
Then later on a warming sun did
warmly smile.
Today the wind is whistling calling
‘let me in’,
The falling snow goes always and
cannot win
For the flakes are sent hither and yon
then land,
So it is taking time to cover earth, not where
it planned.
The wind has just flung open the big
back door
And is sending us a gift, snow upon
the floor,
I fight to gain the wood in the hole to preserve
the heat,
But I must admit quite strong resistance do
I meet.
It sounds like a poor child crying out in
the cold,
But no you cannot enter my cruel heart
it told.
Now the sun is shining but the wind is
still strong.
Yes, to let in that cold north wester would be
very wrong.
