More poems about Weather.

A PERFECT DAY
Although it is early November and we have had snow
Up north that is the way the weather seems to blow,
But this morning a drip, drip sound I clearly could hear,
The warm sun fast melting the snow, a sound so dear.

Even at eight in the morning it was quite warm,
A promise of double digit figures, no nasty storm,
A sky of the brightest blue, a sun’s smiling face
Giving warmth and comfort and she full of grace.

I don’t think I need a coat to go to pick up the mail,
Not like the other day when we were hit with hail,
A respite from the cold north wind, is it here to stay?
They say all week it will be here not just for today.

There are rows of washing hanging on many a line
We know it wont freeze while a warm sun does shine,
There are many people walking in the glorious sun,
We should make the most of it when all is said and done.
