GREY CLOUDS
The heavy grey clouds seem to spoil our view,
As rain lashes in fury the whole day through
When having to travel if pleasant and bright
Can bring excitement and many scenes in sight.

For a whiles the clouds go higher but the rain goes on,
As if some great battle, by it, has to be won,
You brighter skis glow a few miles ahead,
But the grey clouds follow you along instead.

So there’s no true break in the weather going along,
You don’t even feel like singing a happy little song,
For all is dull grey and is rather disheartening
Maybe soon the dear sun will some relief bring
