NOSES GOING FOR A WALK
The air was quite cool as on the walk we went,
To exercise some that day we were truly bent,
But with us of course went our two noses,
Mine glowed as red as a bunch of nice roses.
After awhile the noses became itch and sniff,
As the air grew cooler and the wind was stiff,
Sniff, sniff, scratch, scratch, caused many a pause
As hankies were fished for, more redness to cause.
We and our noses really enjoyed the walk we took,
Itch and sniff calmed down when inside we did look,
Quite awhile before our noses were normal again
Maybe we can leave ‘em home, but it would be a pain.
So in cold weather when for a nice walk we will go
Sniff and itch will come to and both begin to glow,
We’ll take hankies and maybe find a nose muff!
I’ll make some. But not from fluffy itchy stuff.
