HARD TO BE APART
It is good to have you around, you being close by,
Sitting in an easy chair or working together, oh my,
How much I miss you when you are not here,
Although being on the computer helps bring you near.
Just knowing you are close by is a comfort to me,
It is a joy knowing we can be together for eternity,
I am glad you are gone for only one short day
And for your constant safety I ardently pray.
I love you my darling, want to do things for you,
For we are as one and will be our lives through,
It will continue above for our love is strong,
Let us strive to be worthy, not do any wrong.
As the great beauty surrounds us which we see every day,
Our love is just as lovely in it’s own special way,
We try our best to always put the other first
So of sweet eternal love we will never thirst.
May we share many years as one in this lovely place,
Be blest with health and strength by God’s good grace,
Go hand in hand along life’s path until we have to part
Who is left at the end will keep sweet memories in the heart.
