ALL ABOUT ANCESTORS
Come, look at these photographs, work out who they are,
Then when we reach heaven above we will go quite far
In knowing them and loving them for they are sweet family,
And be a great advantage as we serve togther through eternity.
Some are willing pioneers who trod along the cruel way,
Lost everything they had, driven from their homes far away,
Shed tears of sorrow as many died, but some made it through,
Look through and see how many look a lot like me and you.
Many came, ordinary folks with different talents and skills,
Embraced the truth of the gospel, struggled through many ills,
But hung onto the knowledge that Jesus and Father are not one
And lived in hardship until their own battle was at last won.
See some of them smile, others look all stiff and quite stern,
Some in working clothes taken as their money they did earn,
Others on special occasions with big groups all togther shown,
Feel them, let them come to you just as on the picture shown.
The more you look the better you will know each old face,
And the Lord will bless you and fill you with His grace
As you want to learn about them feel them as family,
Knowing that one day they will a forever family be.
