ALWAYS LOVE NATURE
Everyday, dear Father in heaven above,
Help me continue sweet nature to love.
In each season it’s own beauty see
A multitude of gifts given to all free.
Stark winter whiteness, wonderful to behold,
Bitter harsh beauty full of magnificent cold,
In contrast sweet spring wearing brand new green,
New life, new growth, new beginnings seen.
Then dear, sweet summer nearly always kind,
With thousands of flowers for me to find.
Then comes fall, to me the dearest season of all,
Full of abundance and colours that call
One to wander through forests and vale,
All other seasons to fall seem to pale.
Now for all the creatures both great or small,
I strive to have respect and love for them all,
They were given to us to protect and to care,
I hope over the years I have done my share
To help them, both furry and feathered friends
And all other wonderful things to us thou sends.
Everyday, dear Father in heaven above,
Please help me sweet nature to love.
