IN HIS HANDS
What will I be in His precious hands on this day?
His instrument to serve others in His own way,
Does He just need me to give a loving smile
Or walk with the weary that long extra mile?
To hold a hand in kindness of the sad and lone,
Is that what He needs looking down from His throne?
Or visit one who is dying, needs me by their side
An instrument of mercy my deep love never hide.

There maybe one who has gone astray and needs light,
Am I the one He needs to let my beacon shine bright,
The one who will be what the lost one does need,
My little candle be the one of whom she’ll take heed?
I have hands and feet and a willing heart to work,
These are my instruments, Visiting Teaching I’ll not shirk,
Let me serve and I will be His loving instrument,
Do this act of kindness and know by Him I am sent.
