More poems about the Saviour.

        OH, MY BLESSED REDEEMER
Oh, my blessed Redeemer, Jesus, Saviour of mankind,
What great comfort in th is knowledge I truly find,
Knowing if I strive, always every day to do my best,
Thy suffering and eternal love have done the rest.

Oh, blessed Redeemer, My dearest Master and king,
How can I ever thank Thee for every precious thing
That comes from Thee and Father in heaven above,
I feel it is insufficient my poor feeble yet eager love.

I can give Thee time and talents my heart and my mind,
Try and serve others, try always to be good and kind,
Want to understand Thy suffering in some small way,
To repent of all my wrong doings every single day.

With a repentant heart and wanting to know and feel
Of Thy great anguish so in some way help others heal,
So in a minuscule way my eternal gratitude show
For Thy example and sacrifice so we to heaven may go.
