THE DAY OF HIS COMING
Where could I hide at the day of Thy coming,
        If I unworthy be,
Where could I conceal myself so not see Thy face
        There before me?
The signs of Thy coming are shown around every day,
        If we can see,
Help me dear Master to strive through this life be
        Ever worthy.

No crevice or cave is deep enough to save the unworthy
        From their fate,
Those who serve Thee well will welcome Thee in love on
        That special date.
Will I come rejoicing on the great millennial day waiting
        With my mate,
And sing songs of adoration looking forward to a much
        Happier state?

Guide my feet in kindness and my path direct in sweet
        Love and light,
Help me dearest Master everyday to be honest and always
        Choose the right,
I want to be worthy of Thy sacrifice divine and serve with
        All my might,
And be able on that precious morn to be worthy of Thy
        Wondrous sight.
