More poems about Rain.

RAIN STORM
At last the rain is coming down in torrents
from the sky,
The sun drenched earth seems to sing it’s
praises to on high,
The lightening gives more light to the darkening
everywhere,
And there is a freshness now coming on the
afternoon air.
The clouds roll past slowly, hanging so
very low
And there is a feeling of sweet relief coming
quite slow,
Although the birds have found shelter and geese are
not found,
And many large puddles cover the dried up
thirsty ground.
You can feel the freshness now in the boisterous
fresh breeze,
And there is a happy song that is found among the
lofty trees.
Thank you rain for the gift of moisture from the
cloudy sky,
Now we have had enough for now, so clouds
go swiftly fly.
