More poems about the Saviour.

        COME UNTO ME
The Saviour wants to help us, lead us by the hand,
Wants to stop us straying on Satan’s sinking sand,
However deep the mire we are in He is right there,
Stretch out your hand and His love He will share.

He lightens heavy burdens if you are yoked with Him,
He will not run away at some upset or little whim,
But be there for you in all the storms and stress you meet,
You will feel His strength as you worship at His feet.

He will give us rest, peace of mind, and give us light,
No burden will be too heavy, He shares it with all His might,
All we have to do is be humble and follow every single day
The path He set for us to take along life’s truthful way.

‘Come, follow me’ is a gesture of His great love divine,
You’ll feel His hand in yours, there’ll be no need to pine
Or weep or worry for He’ll carry you when times are bad,
For we know He will be the best friend you have ever had.
