EXPLORING
We have been exploring around Cobalt again,
There are so many things to see that are very plain,
Others are tucked away you may just pass them by,
Follow the silver trail, relive the past with a deep sigh.
Gaze and live a lifetime looking at a old mine shaft,
Wondered how many worked there with a different craft,
Learn the names that sound strange in mining terminology.
The more you visit Cobalt the more clever you will be.
Headframes, glory holes, high grade ore, alloys, and muck,
A banjo shovel for mucking and a mucker, not for luck!!
But for working in mines along with stopes, vugs and a skip,
All this and more found in Cobalt you’ll be glad of the trip.
