REMEMBERING
9.11
Remembering the horror, not believing what
we saw,
We thought it was a movie as we came through
the door,
But our son assured us that it was all so
very real,
Then the next plane hit the other tower, how
did we feel?
This could not be happening! How could this
really be,
How many thousands were killed all innocent
as could be?
Terrorists with deadly skill would even go and
strike again
Causing many so much suffering and so much hurt
and pain.
Yes, we should heal but not forget these acts
but struggle on
To rid the world of violence and intolerance a
battle to be won.
Stand up for the right to choose and never be
cruelly condemned,
But love and sweet charity on all folks we should
ever send.
