        ROOM WITH A DECK
In our new home we have a deck leading off the pink room,
It faces mainly west and we see many back yards in bloom,
Many different crops grow well, and many tall waving trees,
It’s a nice place to sit when there is a cool evening breeze.

A good place for a snack before doing off to bed each night,
See the remnants of the sunset just fading out of our sight,
We have two chairs so we may sit and be gently refreshed
Before going off to bed for a well deserved sleep and rest.

The pink room holds the computers and many of our books
In fact very much like an important study it often looks,
We call it the pink room for other names elude us
And the carpet’s a pretty pink that saves a lot of fuss.

Right now the sun is streaming in, breezes wafts by,
There are no clouds to be seen just a vivid blue sky,
It is easy to work in the pink room or just pop outside,
I think it feels we like it best and is full of good pride.
