More poems about Morning.
A PERFECT DAY
When we awoke this morning there were no
clouds in the sky,
A gentle breeze from the south made the
trees sweetly sigh
With contentment as it was going to be
another perfect day,
And more kind summer should still be
coming our way.
The sun, though still young, sent warmth
dispersing cool air
Birds singing, seagulls screeching greeting
the sun so fair,
With flowers rising their heads to noise
and the suns kiss,
Its good to be alive and well, so this day
we do not miss.
Gratitude for the start of another day,
perfect in every way,
Let us offer praises and serve others
on this glorious day,
Notice and see beauty in the small lovely
things everywhere
And use the day wisely, sent to us freely by
His loving care.
