More poems about Friends.

FOR RUTHANN AND RON
All new in the neighbourhood we
had a surprise,
A neighbour from down the street stood
before our eyes
Carrying a gift of home made bread and
sweet preserve ,
A thing we did not expect or even
did deserve.
Happy sparkling eyes and a lovely
smiling face,
A picture of kindness and
gentle grace,
We talked awhile and liked many
similar things,
We had a new friend we knew much
joy it did bring.
She spoke of her husband Ron, long to
meet him too,
He sounds as nice as Ruthann another
friend all new.
Thank you for your welcome
and your care,
We know if we need help, you
will be there,
For you radiate goodness and kindness
in every way,
May we stay friends for ever this
I humbly pray.
