KNOWLEDGE OF THE MASTER
Do I have knowledge of my Master, do I know Him well?
I have knowledge of the pre-existence and I can tell
Of the war in heaven, know that He was the chosen one
And He was able to say to Father, “Thy will be done.”
I have knowledge that He helped create this lovely earth,
And all the planets and stars of great beauty and worth,
And that he was born in a stable all so cold and bare,
And the shepherds came and worshipped Him there.
That wise men followed a star and knelt in prayer,
Gave gifts of significance and valuable and quite rare.
Grew in wisdom as a child into a worthy noble man,
Ready for His ministry as part of our Father’s plan.
He was baptised by John to fulfill the true law,
Performed healings and mighty things galore,
He taught in wisdom explained things well,
Directed all aright as His teaching He did tell.
He suffered in Gethsemane and died upon the cross,
If He had not risen from the dead what great a loss,
He visited this continent a prophesy to complete,
And thousands saw His pieced hands and feet.
But anyone can know these things read them anywhere,
Knowledge of the Master is much deeper I declare,
Fasting and preparation with humility and seeking
True knowledge of the Master will not be lacking.
Seek and ye shall find, want to know Him by name
And your life I know will never ever be the same,
With righteous living and goodness every day
Knowledge of the Master will surely come our way.
