A NEW PLACE TO LIVE
Things will be very much different from now on,
All such a change from where we came from,
Very little traffic compared to the big city life,
Just a car or two, maybe a train, life free from strife.
Tny winding streets in a small twisting town,
No one seems in a hurry, folks walking up and down,
There is an air of tranquillity found almost everywhere,
Well soon get used to that, be free from trouble and care,
The haunting call of the loon comes from the nearby lake,
Such a comforting feeling in my heart it does make,
The view of lake, rock face and forests of rich green,
Full of rugged beauty there, all the time to be seen.
The place is Cobalt, just a small dot on some chart,
A place I know will soon be a big part of my heart,
With its stillness and peace and historic things to see,
Oh yes, I know that Cobalt with become a great part of me.
