More poems about Computers.

        PACKING THE COMPUTER
Soon the computer will be dismantled ready for the move,
Something that has to be done I hope it doesn’t disapprove,
I thought I ought to write a poem before this task is done
For I don’t know when I’ll be able to write another one.

A note book I left ready to write in while we travel far,
But it must have been packed away or put in the car,
But when the computer is packed thats when ideas will come,
I hope all my brain storage compartments will have lots of fun.

This computer now it’s getting old, thinks it knows best
And often through the day puts my patience to the test,
Yet when I warn it and tell it it’s now an old dinosaur
It behaves itself for awhile and is good to me once more.

Maybe one more poem before we pull the big plug
Then hope all is well when we connect, give a shrug
Of our shoulders and wonder, is this one now too old,
It has been a good friend I can’t throw it out in the cold.

Go on computer be good to me on this last day here
Or if you play up too much your end may be very near,
Remember for a moment we can splurge a little bit,
And maybe a new computer will be the thing we hit.
