More poems about Honesty
THANK YOU MR HONEST
CONDUCTOR MAN
Our daughter in law came down from
northern Ontario,
Then on the GO Train for a distance
had to go,
She was having to go to England a very
sick mother to see
But left her purse on the train she was as
worried as could be,
How could she get to England with no
passport or other identity,
She hoped someone would find it, all
found and be worry free.
After much trouble and hunting great
news came our way,
The conductor on the train was very honest
that special day.
He took the purse home for safety what
a good deed
Honesty like that everyone should try
and take heed,
We do not know your name but you
are special to our family,
We want to say a big thank you for saving
the day this way.
Sharons mother is critical she needs to be
in England tonight,
Without that purse she could not take
her flight.
May many blessings come your way for
being so good,
You may never know what good you do as
through life you go.
