More poems about Beauty Spots.

TUCKED AWAY SOMEWHERE
There is a place tucked away that seems to have no name,
A beauty spot when it seems you never feel quiet the same,
There is a haunting emptiness that forever fills your heart,
A deep longing to return there is with you never to depart.

There is a waterfall with a rainbow always arched there,
Butterflies dance and flutter in the fragrant fresh air.
There are no words to describe the flowers that always grow,
And the trees their brightest green forever seems to show.

A pristine lake that is bluer than the brightest sky,
See the many multicoloured fish as they go gliding by,
The grass feels as soft a silk as you walk with bare feet
And the fruit is delicious always just ripe, a perfect treat.

If you find a winding path leading to a place with no name,
Try and turn around or you may never be the same,
For that haunting emptiness will make you forever long
For that place like Eden, with a yearning that is forever strong.
