GAIN TRUE HUMILITY
I’ll try and be a good person, always honest and true,
Not be a Pharisee saying, ‘I’m much better than you,
Just strive hard to be like the Master every single day,
And pray that I will gain true humility along the way.
I”ll try and be a Latter Day Saint worthy of the name,
Never do things that will make my head bow in shame,
Try not to boast of the good I do for Satan to pull me away,
And I pray that I will gain true humility along the way.
I’ll try every day to make heaven above my main goal
Try never to condemn another sinking or struggling soul,
But help them by guiding them from being far astray
And pray that I will gain true humility along the way.
